1) At which stage should I take digital photo?
Digital photo taking is required for application of driving licence. Customers are required to take the digital photo during counter enrolment or during identity verification (for online enrolment). Digital photo must be taken before booking for practical test.
2) Can I submit my own photo that I have taken elsewhere?
No, the photo must be taken from the designated photo booth at our Centre and the digital photo will be sent to Traffic Police directly.
3) What is the photo booth’s operating hours?
Photo booth’s operating hours are: Mon-Fri 08:30-19:30 (avoid dinner time at 17:30-18:00); Sat-Sun 08:30-13:00; Closed on public holidays.
4) Do I need to make an appointment for photo taking?
No appointment is required if you have a valid account with us. You may proceed to the Customer Service with your physical valid NRIC/FIN Card.
5) How much is photo taking?
It costs $7.09 (incl 9% GST) for each digital photo taken, deducted from your BBDC account.
6) Can I retake my photo?
If you wish to retake your photo, the fee is also $7.09 (incl 9% GST) and you may do so at least 1 day before applying for driving licence online.
7) Can I request for a copy of my photo?
A copy of the photo taken shall be emailed to you if you have provided the photo booth your email address correctly.
8) Do I need to take photo if I have a QDL?
Photo taking is NOT required if you have:
- A valid QDL; or
- Taken the photo at any of the driving centres before.
The exemption will be done during counter enrolment or during identity verification (for online enrolment).
