Why theory lessons are important?

Theory lessons cover knowledge that is not learnt in practical lessons. The objective is not to prepare learners for their theory tests, but to equip learners with safe riding knowledge that benefits them life-long.  Topics include defensive riding rules, knowledge of expressway riding, understand speed and impact forces, junction rules, riding on hazardous traffic conditions, etc.  Instructor uses newspaper articles and video clips to illustrate on accidents and share preventive measures and safety response.

Theory Practice

Theory practice provides explanation to learners so that they can improve their theory knowledge while preparing for their theory tests.

Theory Evaluation

Theory evaluation lets learners familiarise with the test format and gain confidence in passing the test so as to proceed with practical training without waiting for subsequent theory test attempts.  Our high passing rates are proven (source from Singapore Police Force website).

An electronic Provisional Driving Licence (e-PDL) enables learners to learn riding on the public roads under a qualified riding instructor.

Application & Renewal of Electronic Provisional Driving Licence (e-PDL)

1. You may apply for your e-PDL via https://eservices.police.gov.sg/content/policehubhome/homepage/provisional-driving-licence.html or Police@SG mobile app with your SingPass. For foreigner without Singpass, you may apply with your FIN number and Date of Birth.
2. Payment is $25 by eNETS/Visa/Mastercard/Debit Card.
3. E-PDL is valid for 2 years from date of application.

Important Note:
1.  You may apply for your e-PDL upon completion of Practical Subject 5.02 and with valid Basic Theory Test record.

2.  E-PDL expiry date will be automatically reflected in our system on the next working day.

Please click here for our Frequently Asked Questions.

Pregnant learners may proceed with theory lessons and theory test, however, for practical lessons/test, you are required to produce a Certification Letter endorsed by your Gynaecologist/Doctor to certify that you are ‘FIT’ for practical lessons and practical test.  The Certification Letter has to be endorsed by Customer Service and to be produced on all practical lessons and practical test.

For more information on the guidelines, please click here.

If you are unable to produce the Certification Letter during practical lesson, instructor will need to get approval from his superior whether to proceed with the lesson.
