Bus Driver’s Vocational Licence Course

Licence to Drive A School / Private Hire / Excursion Bus

Course Information

This licence allows the holder to drive a private hire bus, an excursion bus, and a school bus.

Enrolment Requirements

Applicant should first submit application to LTA for approval via One Motoring / GoBusiness Licensing online and undergo medical check-up and x-ray after receiving the approval from LTA.

Applicants who have been approved to attend the training course are required to register for the course within 3 months and complete the course within 6 months from the date of the approval letter.

Please enrol in person (no appointment required) with the following documents :

Valid NRIC
Valid FIN Card (for foreigners)
Valid Qualified Singapore Driving Licence
Original X-Ray and Medical Report – must be certified “Fit” by a registered medical practitioner
Valid Application Approval Letter from LTA

$109.00 (inclusive of 9% GST)- Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable

Course Details

Total Duration: 14 hours (3 to 4 days course)- inclusive of a two-hour written test
Course Language: English/Mandarin

Reporting

Must be in proper attire. Wearing of slippers, sandals, singlet, shorts or bermudas will not be permitted.
Refer to Theory Schedule Board at main lobby for your allocated classroom and report to the classroom on time.
Lateness for classes/tests exceeding 15 minutes will be considered as absent.
