BUS ATTENDANT'S VOCATIONAL LICENCE COURSE (BAVL)

LICENCE TO BE A SCHOOL BUS ATTENDANT

Course Information

This licence allows the holder to work as a school bus attendant.

Enrolment Requirements

Applicant should first submit application to LTA for approval via One Motoring / GoBusiness online and undergo medical check-up and x-ray after receiving the approval from LTA. Applicants who are approved to attend the training course will be required to register for the course within 3 months and complete the course within 6 months from the date of the approval letter. Please enrol in person (no appointment required) with the following documents :  

  • Identity Card: Physical NRIC Card (preferred), valid SG Passport or Digital Identity Card via Singpass App;
  • Original X-Ray and Medical Report – must be certified “Fit” by a registered medical practitioner; and
  • Valid Application Approval Letter from LTA (In-Principle Approval Letter not accepted).

Course Fee

  • $32.70 (inclusive of 9% GST)- Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable
  • Payment Mode: Nets/CashCard

Course Details

  • Total Duration: 3 hours (1 day course)
  • Course Language : English/Mandarin
  • Course available dates will be provided during enrolment at Customer Service Counter.

There will be no test for this course.

Attending the Course

Reporting Documents

  • Identity Card: NRIC Card, valid SG Passport or Digital Identity Card via Singpass App;
  • X-Ray and Medical Report;
  • Application Approval Letter from LTA; and
  • Course Official Receipt.

Reporting

  • Must be in proper attire.  Wearing of slippers, sandals, singlet, shorts or bermudas will not be permitted.
  • Refer to Theory Schedule Board at main lobby for your allocated classroom and report to the classroom on time.
  • Lateness for classes/tests exceeding 15 minutes will be considered as absent.
