Limitation on Viewing of TPDS Booking Page

15 Feb 2022

With immediate effect, we have limited the number of view and search for TPDS booking page per day. Once you have reached the limit, you will not be able to view and book TPDS. Please try again tomorrow. No additional request on view and search for TPDS will be entertained.

The purpose of this is to prevent 3rd party automated booking and ensure all customers have an equal chance of booking TPDS.

Change in BBDC Member’s Login ID (School & Private Learners)

10 Sep 2021

With effect from Wednesday 15 September 2021, your BBDC Login (school and private learners) ID will be changed to the Last 4 Characters of your NRIC no./FIN and your Date of Birth (DDMMYYYY). e.g. 567A02071990.

Password shall remain unchanged. Below is the default login ID format:

Suspension of Classroom-Based Theory Lessons

21 May 2021

In view of the recent rise in Covid-19 community cases and to avoid congregation among customers, with effect from 1 June 2021, the following theory lessons will only be available under Home-based theory lessons (HBTL) conducted via Zoom Cloud Meetings and Classroom-based theory lesson will be suspended till further notice.

Basic Theory Lessons (BTL 1.01, 1.02)
Final Theory Lessons (FTL 1.01, 1.02)
Risk Forecast Training (PPL 5.01)
Riding Theory Lessons (RTL 1.01, 1.02)
Defensive Riding Theory Lessons (PPL 1.01, 1.02, 1.03)
Class 2A Theory Lesson (TL)

Customers who have already booked for Classroom-based theory lessons from 1 June 2021 onwards, please do not report to BBDC as theory lesson will be conducted via Zoom Cloud Meetings. Booking Requirements for Traffic Police Driving Simulator (TPDS) Lessons

Attention: Motorcycle and Motorcar Customers (Course Type: 2B, 3C, 3A & 3F)

With effect from 12 May 2021, customers will be able to book for TPDS after completing at least 5 hours of practical training.

Request for Refund of Wrong Internet Funds Transferred

With effect from 1 January 2021, please be informed that request for refund of wrong internet funds transferred will be subjected to an admin fee of $10.70 (inclusive of GST).

Reminder on Update of Internet Funds Transfer Transaction

Internet Funds Transfer has ceased with effect from 20 August 2020 and replaced with PayNow QR Code.

For customers who had transferred funds via Internet Funds Transfer earlier on but transaction has not yet reflected in their BBDC Account, please inform us via our Banking Transaction Rectification Form in order for us to follow up on the transaction.

Cessation of Internet Funds Transfer

Please be informed that with immediate effect, internet funds transfer will no longer be accepted. Please login to your BBDC account to top-up via PayNow QR Code for immediate transfer. Please do not top up via UEN. For more information, please click here.

Driving Assessment for Elderly Vocational Licence Holders

Holders of Taxi Driver's Vocational Licence (TDVL), Private Hire Car Driver's Vocational Licence (PDVL) and Class 3 Bus Driver's Vocational Licence (BDVL) can now register at BBDC for driving assessment for the renewal of vocational licences at the age of 70, 73 & 74.
